David Reichmann
A family love of art
Trained from a young age by his father - renowned multitalented photographer Andre Reichmann - David quickly learned his way around a camera, and eventually the wedding photography industry. Andre had been mentored by industry legends Vincent Versace and Jerry Ghionis, and passed each and every tip and trick to David.
David would soon become Director of Photography at Andre Reichmann Photography, a position he still maintains.
Andre and David continue to photograph a number of weddings and events together each year, and their collected works can be found below:
A style of his own
David continues to learn from his father, but would soon receive his own direct mentorship from Jerry Ghionis, Erika and Lanny Mann, and JB Sallee.
He would earn his first awards from Wedisson in 2016, more than 30 other awards and publications in the following year, and in 2019 a nomination for Rangefinder's 30 Rising Stars.
A sense of discovery
David and his brothers would often take road trips together, hiking Angel's Landing at Zion National Park, riding on horseback through the backwoods of Wyoming, and camping in Yosemite Valley.
On the occasion of his younger brother's wedding, David realized he had a special opportunity to take the newlyweds on the adventure of a lifetime. So they packed their bags (and their cowboy hats, wedding dress, and sharpest suit), hopped on a plane, and drove from Nevada to Utah, Arizona, and finally California.
The images we would take together on this trip would become the foundation for David's passion for Destination Weddings and Elopements.
